Kelowna Riding Club is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting equestrian sports and the welfare of horses in Kelowna and the surrounding areas. We have a long history of providing opportunities for riders to pursue their passion and compete at all levels. With our welcoming and positive environment, we strive to cultivate a community where everyone can feel included and supported. We believe diversity in our membership and disciplines makes us stronger. Whether you are interested in learning to ride, competing at a high level, or just enjoying the company of fellow horse enthusiasts, we invite you to join our community at Kelowna Riding Club.

Welcome to the Kelowna Riding Club - the premier destination for horse enthusiasts in the Okanagan valley. Our mission is to create a community of riders who share a passion for these beautiful animals and the sport that they inspire. As a non-profit organization, we rely on the support of our members to keep our facilities up to par and offer high-quality events throughout the year. As a member you will have access to our well-maintained riding rings from April through to November, and receive significant discounts on all of our club activities. We offer a variety of events throughout the year, including shows, clinics, and social gatherings that are designed to bring our members together and foster a love for equestrian sport.  Join us today and experience all that the Kelowna Riding Club has to offer!

OUR PRICING

Base price is a required immediate payment.  There are two options for the volunteer fee; submit a cheque for your volunteer fee or an e-transfer (to be refunded upon completion of volunteer hours) and complete 6 volunteer hours OR an immediate payment in lieu of volunteering.

Please note that volunteer cheques must be post-dated for Oct 31st, 2025.

If you are not interested in volunteering, the second option is an immediate payment, which the respective volunteer fee price for your membership type will be paid immediately with your membership base fee.

At the Kelowna Riding Club, we take pride in our beautiful and functional grounds. Our dedicated groundskeeper is the only employee, which means we rely heavily on the support of our volunteers to keep the club running smoothly. With a range of equestrian sports and events, there are plenty of opportunities for members to get involved and contribute to the community. Whether you have years of riding experience or are new to the sport, the Kelowna Riding Club is the perfect place to connect with other horse enthusiasts and give back to the community.

Senior Coach Members either need to show their coaching license or will need to provide a criminal record check and Level 1 first aid (this is in addition to their coaching insurance, HCBC membership, and waiver as per our current requirements).

You must be a member of Horse Council BC to join the Kelowna Riding Club. Need to renew your HCBC Membership? It’s easy, you can purchase your membership online here.  

​

Note that HCBC membership is required for everyone participating in any and all equestrian activities at the KRC.
