Join Us for KRC’s Inaugural Ranch Riding Show!

Get ready for an exciting weekend at KRC’s very first Ranch Riding Show! We are thrilled to bring this event to life and are already looking ahead to hosting a second show the last weekend in September. Riders who compete in both will have the chance to earn high point awards across both events!

We’re honored to have Wendy Johnston from Alberta as both clinician and judge, offering riders a unique opportunity to learn directly from the judge before they compete. Join her Friday and Saturday morning clinics to refine your skills and gain valuable insights before stepping into the show pen.

 

Show Highlights:

• Cash-Added Stakes Classes – Compete for added prize money!

• Lead Line Class - All Ages Welcome!

• High Point Awards – Earn top honours in your division.

• Champion Prizes – Buckles for division winners, plus prizes for Reserve Champions.

• Gambler’s Choice Ranch Class - riders design their own pattern, choosing from obstacles and maneuvers worth varying points. With a set time limit, the goal is to earn the highest score by completing as many challenges as possible.

• Rancher’s Long Table Dinner (Saturday Night) – A great way to relax, connect, and celebrate the weekend.

 

For those staying on-site, dry camping is available, and showers are on the grounds to keep you comfortable throughout the weekend.

 

This event is a 1.5 day clinic and 1.5 day show with the following format: 

• Day 1: Friday - Clinic reviewing patterns, etc.  

• Day 2: Saturday Morning - Clinic on Trail Obstacles

•            Saturday Afternoon - Show starts with judged trail work

• Day 3: Sunday - Judged Pattern Work/Rail Work

 

There will be Ranch Confirmation in all Divisions for the show.
