It is with immense gratitude and excitement that we write to you today. We extend our

thanks to everyone who took the time to complete the survey. Your valuable feedback has shed

light on the collective aspirations of our diverse equestrian community.

Based on your input, we have distinguished our top requests as a membership, including but

not limited to:

- More Clinics: We understand the importance of ongoing education and improvement in

our riding disciplines, and share your vision for a wide variety of clinic opportunities

throughout the year.

- More Social Events: Organizing more social gatherings, bringing together riders of all

disciplines, was identified as a top priority, and we share the excitement in creating fun

and engaging events for our membership to grow as a community

- Covered Arena: Many of you expressed the need for a covered arena, which will provide

us with a year-round training and event space, sheltering us from the heat of summer

and snowy winters.

- Perimeter Trail:We have heard your desire for a scenic perimeter trail. This addition

would not only serve as a beautiful riding path but also serve as a great training, warm

up, and cool down area.

- Increased Shade: To ensure the comfort of our spectators, horses, and riders, we hope

to augment the shade structures across our facility. This will make our events more

enjoyable for everyone involved.

- More Shows: In response to your enthusiasm for competitive events, we are motivated

to bring more opportunities for you to showcase your skills and talents in many

disciplines.

 

However, none of these ambitious plans can come to fruition without the active involvement of

our dedicated members. We encourage you to consider volunteering for one of the various

committees which will be forming in the near future, each of which plays a crucial role in shaping

our club's future. Whether your passion lies in event planning, fundraising, facility management,

or education, there is a place for you to contribute.

Furthermore, we invite those who are passionate about our club's mission to consider a position

on our Board of Directors. Serving on the board is a unique opportunity to drive the direction of

the Kelowna Riding Club and make a lasting impact on our equestrian community.

 

Together, we can transform our shared vision into a thriving reality. Your commitment, passion,

and involvement are the cornerstones of our success. We hope you will join us November 24th
